I am a freelance live sound engineer and system designer based in London.
Music has been my love since I was a child. I also loved to make my own electroacoustic equipment such as amplifiers and speakers. The combination of both, being a musician and a student of electrical engineering course helped make my choice to be a sound engineer.
I joined my first professional sound company in 1999, just a couple of years after I got my electrical engineering degree. During these years from mixing monitors and FOH I ended up concentrating more on being a system engineer and system designer. Working in this part of the sound industry gives me more flexibility to be creative.
Every stage of the system implementation starting from the CAD drawings of the venue, the system simulation using the sound design program, the actual system setup, to the final system tuning are always exciting for me. Tuning a system to me is like playing an instrument, as a result, all the notes must sound clear.
I am also a V-DOSC (2006) and K1 (2013) certified engineer for L-Acoustics, one of the leading sound system equipment manufacturers.
I do system design, implementation and optimisation for a wide range of events from concerts and festivals to awards and tours.
